The Association of Rossossois of the Diaspora (ARD) was founded with the aim of strengthening the ties between members of the diaspora and the local community of Rosso. Our story begins with a group of people from Rosso, eager to bring about positive change in their hometown. In the face of the economic and social challenges the community was facing, we decided to unite our efforts to contribute to a better future.
Since its creation, ARD has placed particular emphasis on education, health, and the empowerment of women. Our actions have enabled the rehabilitation of schools, the provision of school supplies, and support for local health centers. By creating opportunities for young people and women, the association has become a key player in the socio-economic development of Rosso.
Our vision quickly expanded to include the promotion of culture, sports, and the environment. We organized sports events to promote solidarity and social inclusion, while also taking concrete actions for environmental protection. In partnership with local authorities, ARD has contributed to tree planting and neighborhood clean-ups to improve the residents’ quality of life.
Over time, ARD has expanded its network of local and international partners. This collaboration has allowed us to secure funding and technical support to develop sustainable projects. Thanks to this support, we have been able to achieve new goals and expand our activities to better meet the needs of the Rosso community.
Today, ARD is a major player in the development of Rosso. Thanks to our projects in the fields of education, health, economic empowerment, and the environment, we have contributed to improving the living conditions of thousands of people. We continue our mission with determination, aiming to create a lasting impact for the community of Rosso and its surroundings.
