Hosting
The site is hosted on a virtual private server (VPS) provided by IONOS SARL, 7 place de la Gare, 57200 Sarreguemines, France — Sarreguemines trade register (RCS) 431 303 775 — telephone: +33 970 808 911 — www.ionos.fr. The server is physically located in Europe, in an IONOS data centre, where the site’s content and technical logs are stored.
Cloudflare proxy
For performance and security reasons, the site sits behind the network of Cloudflare, Inc. (101 Townsend Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA), which acts as a technical intermediary (reverse proxy) between your browser and our server: caching of static resources to speed up display, HTTPS encryption, web application firewall and protection against denial-of-service attacks and malicious bots. Cloudflare does not store the site’s editorial content, which remains hosted on the IONOS server.
The technical data processed in the course of this (IP address, requested pages, security cookies) is described in the privacy policy.
Design and development
The site runs on WordPress, the bootscore theme (Bootstrap) and a child theme designed for the association. The Outfit and Nunito typefaces (SIL Open Font License) and the Font Awesome Free icons are hosted on the site itself: no font is loaded from a third-party service.
Webmaster and technical support
The design, development and technical maintenance of the site are carried out by Adrien LAPORTE, the site’s webmaster. In the event of a technical problem (page unavailable, display error, broken form), please contact the webmaster directly: laporte.adrien@outlook.fr or +33 6 24 44 76 91. About the webmaster.

- Partner logos (La Guilde, AFD, FORIM, GRDR, AASDI, FFRIM, Commune de Rosso…) belong to their owners and are reproduced solely to acknowledge the partnership.
- The map on the home page uses data © OpenStreetMap contributors, under the ODbL licence.
- The flag and outline of Mauritania are stylised representations made for the site.
Personal data and cookies
The processing of personal data (membership requests, newsletter, comments, audience measurement) and the use of cookies are described in our privacy policy. You can change your choices at any time via “Cookie preferences”, at the bottom of every page.
Links to other websites
The site links to third-party services: the PayAsso donation platform, the Brevo form, the OpenStreetMap map, and our partners’ websites. These services have their own terms and policies; the ARD controls neither their content nor their practices and cannot be held liable for them.
Liability
The ARD strives to publish accurate, up-to-date information — every project is reported with its funding and results — but cannot guarantee the absence of errors or omissions. Information is provided for guidance and may change. The association cannot be held liable for an interruption of the site, a technical failure or a use of its content that does not comply with these terms. Please report any error: we will correct it promptly.
Accessibility
The site is designed to be readable by as many people as possible: contrasts checked in light and dark mode, keyboard navigation, alternative text on images, “reduced motion” preference respected. If you come across an obstacle, write to us: we will look for a solution.
Governing law
These legal notices are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, the parties will first seek an amicable settlement; failing that, the French courts will have sole jurisdiction.
