A Project to Improve Educational Infrastructure and the Learning Environment
Project Context

The rehabilitation of the Ndiourbel school in Rosso is an important initiative launched by our association, in response to the urgent need to improve educational infrastructure in this community. Noticing the degradation of school buildings and their lack of safety, we took the initiative to provide students with a secure and suitable learning environment.
This project is part of a broader effort to promote education and access to learning for all, particularly in the Ndiourbel neighborhood. Thanks to joint efforts and collaboration from all parties, we succeeded in transforming this educational space.
Launch Ceremony

The launch ceremony marked an important moment in this project. This solemn event brought together members of the local community, authorities, and our partners, celebrating the start of the rehabilitation work. It was much more than just an inauguration; it was a true moment of sharing and exchange.
During this ceremony, everyone had the opportunity to testify to the importance of this project for improving the daily quality of life for residents and for the future of the children who attend this school. The mobilization of the community was a key element in ensuring the success of this initiative.
Rehabilitation Work

The rehabilitation work was carried out in several phases, aimed at restoring and modernizing the school infrastructure. Among the interventions carried out, we repaired the roofs, restored the walls and floors, and brought the sanitary and electrical installations up to code.
The goal was to create a learning environment that is safe, functional, and conducive to education, for both students and teaching staff. This project was made possible thanks to the mobilization of our association members, financial support from FORIM, and the commitment of our local partners, who contributed to the proper management of the work and the adherence to deadlines.
Project Results and Knowledge Sharing
A crucial phase of the project was the sharing of results and the capitalization of the lessons learned. This stage allowed us to assess the impact of the work and share the insights gained throughout the rehabilitation process.
Results Evaluation

We conducted a thorough evaluation to analyze the impact of the work on the quality of the school environment, the safety of students and staff, and academic performance. Specific indicators allowed us to measure the progress made and assess the effectiveness of the interventions undertaken.
Sharing of Lessons Learned
Meetings were organized with stakeholders: teachers, students, parents, local authorities, and partners. These exchanges allowed us to gather testimonials and feedback. This sharing of ideas and suggestions is essential for improving our practices and guiding future actions.
Capitalization of Experiences
We documented the key steps of the rehabilitation process and compiled the best practices identified throughout the project. This capitalization enables us to optimize the management of similar projects in the future, leveraging the lessons learned and challenges encountered. It has also strengthened our capacity to design and execute educational infrastructure projects with greater efficiency and sustainability.

Conclusion and Acknowledgements
The success of this project largely rests on the cooperation and commitment of our local partners, who ensured the smooth running of the work at every stage. Their constant presence, rigorous follow-up, and regular reporting were essential to the success of this rehabilitation. We extend our most sincere thanks and deep gratitude for their unwavering support and hard work.
Thanks to this collaboration, we were able to provide the children of Ndiourbel with a much safer and more functional school environment, and we hope that this project will inspire other similar initiatives in the region and beyond.
